Mr Will Symons leads AECOM’s Asia-Pacific Sustainability & Resilience Practice. His recent experience includes supporting 9 cities across the region to develop their first resilience strategies as part of the 100 Resilient Cities initiative, including Jakarta, Bangkok and Melbourne, leading the delivery of a coral reef resilience initiative, focussed on 5 world heritage marine sites and leading New Zealand’s first National Climate Change Risk Assessment. He also supported the development of Melbourne’s first Urban Cooling and Urban Forest strategies and led the delivery of a community wastewater treatment study for Jakarta. Will’s main interest is in supporting clients to make better decisions in the context of increasing complexity and uncertainty.
